And for good reason. We start by only sourcing sustainable ingredients, including cage-free eggs, and all of our swirl breads are non-GMO. We think that people should feel good about what's in their food.
Every batch of dough is naturally fermented before it gets sheeted. It then gets a dusting of cinnamon before being rolled up and baked in crimp-style pans. This creates our signature shape that is normally only found in retail bakeries.
After cooling, our bread gets bathed in a homemade butter blend and then rolled in our own cinnamon and sugar combination. Drooling yet?

History of the Baker Family
As narrated by Scott Baker, Owner and 5th Generation Baker.
As the decades passed by, so did Jenny Lee’s success. The 1980’s presented many challenges for the retail baking industry as the marketplace changed and people changed their shopping behaviors. In response to this decline in business, Jenny Lee responded by closing several retail stores. Also at this time, the fifth generation of the Baker family was discovering its own ambitions with several choosing careers in baking. John Pockl with Karn’s and eventually Bethel Bakery, Nick Hartner with Mancini’s Bakery, Reed Baker helping to develop the McKees Rocks Bread Company and Scott Baker joining the family traditions at Jenny Lee Bakery.
Recent Happenings and Future Plans
As we continue to grow, we also continue to adapt and improve. Our ultimate dream is to make Jenny Lee a household name across the country while staying true to our traditions and our values. New opportunities have been allowing us to do just that and we've been investing in and improving our ability to operate our own online store so our fans can receive our bread straight from the source.
Recently, we have also developed an amazing partnership with QVC. You can view our most recent airing here! We first aired in November 2020 and were invited back for another show just before the end of the year. Since then we've had multiple additional airings and have launched new products like our sticky buns, chunky breads, and our savory breads. We love QVC because of the exposure to a national audience that allows us to show our personality, our bakers, and all the new and exciting things we're working on!
Today, Jenny Lee products are found at in-store bakeries in 20 to 25 states in the Northeast and Midwest. We also have foodservice customers in Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri and we are actively expanding that side of our business. We look forward to working everyday to continue the family legacy, adding in our commitment to clean products, integrity, and making someone's day with our iconic brand!
